EXPERIENCE

  • Previously a CFO of multiple private equity-backed companies in the energy, SaaS, and manufacturing industries; was a Director with PwC in the US and UK; was a Captain with the United States Air Force

  • Has led global public and private client engagements (Client sizes ranging from $200M to over $40B in revenue) in the industries of retail and consumer, energy, utilities and mining, and transportation and logistics

  • Significant experience in client equity and debt offerings, business combinations inclusive of public listing and reporting requirements, initial valuations and ongoing goodwill impairment analyses, share-based awards, restructuring, and global taxes

  • Significant stakeholder management experience, specifically with board and management experience, including Inhibitor Therapeutics (Ticker INTI), as well as multiple PE portfolio companies in the energy industry 

  • Specialised in rapid project mobilisation and deployment of skilled resources for emergency issues, design, and implementation of small to large-scale assurance requirements and advisory projects

  • Additional experience includes leading PwC’s latest data acquisition methods and tools, client acquisitions and systems implementations to include new SOX-compliant control plan implementations across multiple systems, leading co-sourced internal audit projects, and time spent driving PwC’s Lean efficiency initiatives

  • Member of the PwC national office within the SEC PCAOB quality group supporting Europe and the EMEA regions with complex accounting and audit consultations

  • Significant experience with companies across a wide range of financial services sectors, specializing in the real estate industry, having served clients involved in a variety of asset classes including commercial real estate, industrial, retail, multifamily and senior housing, ranging from startups and other small organizations to multi-billion dollar public companies

  • Well-versed in technical accounting matters relating to lease accounting from both the lessor and lessee perspective, including vast experience relating to the adoption of the new leasing standard under ASC 842, as well as other technical accounting areas such as business combinations and revenue recognition 

  • Extensive SEC experience, including a thorough understanding of the annual and quarterly reporting requirements and the various technical aspects of equity and debt offerings, as well as the accounting implications of these transactional activities

EXPERIENCE

  • Previously a Director within the Transaction Services practice of PwC (15+ year tenure) supporting clients from pre-LOI stage discussions through diligence to signing and post-signing support. 

  • Leads high-performing teams in conducting comprehensive due diligence on acquisitions and divestitures for private equity, private companies and public companies including cross-border transactions, across the industries of industrial products, business services, aerospace & defense, space, retail & consumer, and transportation & logistics.

  • Wide-ranging experience supporting clients on deals of all sizes, including less than $1.0m in EBITDA to greater than $600m in EBITDA for a variety of stakeholders.

  • Guides clients through diligence observations to help make strategic value-oriented M&A decisions, including EBITDA adjustments and trends identified through the Quality of Earnings, negotiating net working capital targets based on recent trends or changes in the working capital profile of the business, identification, and quantification of debt and debt-like items, and post-close support around purchase price true-up mechanisms.

  • Prior to working in M&A, supported private and public companies as part of the Assurance practice at PwC and was part of the Lean Six Sigma group at Lockheed Martin.
